The Science Behind RMS
Full-disclosure labels. No proprietary blends.
Every RMS Nutrition product shows you the exact amount of every active ingredient on the Supplement Facts panel. No "proprietary blend" that hides a 50 mg sprinkle of something behind a headline ingredient. If it is in the tub, it is on the label, at the dose we actually use.
That matters more than it sounds. Most of the research on the ingredients below used specific doses. A product that hides its doses is a product you cannot compare to the research.
What is actually in the line, and why
Creatine monohydrate — HydroSprint
Creatine monohydrate is one of the most heavily studied supplements in sport science. It works by increasing the muscle's stores of phosphocreatine, which is the fuel system your body uses for efforts lasting roughly 10 seconds or less — which is to say, the 100m, the block start, the take-off, the throw.*
We pair it with electrolytes because sprinters lose sodium in warm-ups, in prelims, and in finals on the same afternoon, and because creatine draws water into muscle.*
L-citrulline and L-arginine — Sprint Recovery
Both are precursors in the nitric oxide pathway. Citrulline is generally better absorbed than arginine taken on its own. The research here is more mixed than the creatine research, and the dose used in studies varies widely — which is exactly why we print ours.*
Organic beetroot — NitroSprint
Beetroot is a dietary nitrate source, and dietary nitrate is another pathway into nitric oxide.* Stim-free, so it does not stack caffeine on top of whatever you already drink on race day.
Grass-fed hydrolyzed collagen peptides — Fascia Fuel
Collagen is the structural protein in tendon, ligament and fascia. Sprinting and jumping load connective tissue hard and repeatedly.*
Caffeine and focus ingredients — BrainBolt
Caffeine is the single best-evidenced performance ingredient that exists. It is also a stimulant, so the dose is printed on the label and you should count it alongside your coffee, your pre-workout and your energy drinks.*
Third-party lab tested — and exactly what that means
Our production runs go through third-party laboratory testing. We want to be precise about what that covers and what it does not, because this is where supplement brands get vague on purpose.
What we do not claim: RMS Nutrition does not hold NSF Certified for Sport, Informed Sport, or any other named banned-substance certification. We are not going to imply that we do. Those are specific, audited programs with registered certification marks, and we have not completed one.
If you compete under a drug-testing body — NCAA, USATF, a state high school association, or any other — prohibited-substance lists differ between organizations and change over time. Check your governing body's current list against our label, and talk to your athletic trainer or team medical staff before adding any supplement. We would rather tell you where we actually are than sell you a certification we have not earned.
Who this is for
RMS Nutrition sells to adults 18 and over. Our training content is for every athlete; the products are not.
